I liked the old one better.
Well I agree w/ the comment above. Never seen a page so HEAVY to complete, I have broadband conection "extreme" from Rogers, and still slow like a turtle.
User friendly? Don't make me laugh, from all netscape, this is the WORST, do something to make beter and really USER FRIENDLY!.
Thanks,
Catulo Perrucho
I strongly dislike the new format. It is difficult to navigate the various news stories and generallky hard to follow.
F**k'd by Netscape again. While using it, apparently during the change, I was prompted to create new profile, and was unable toback out of that screen. As a result, all my mail was lost, and all my bookmarks and address list was lost as well. So far, I am unable to retrieve any of it. Thanks a hell-of-a-lot, Netscape. I've been a loyal user for nearly 20 years, but this is the end. Fuck off, Netscape'
Please, at least give us a choice between the new and old format! That will show you how well your redesign is working.
Personally I strongly dislike this new design. I have used Netscape for years but will
probably change browsers. Make the Blog format optional for those who feel
comfortable with that approach...but leave the old formatting alone!
Freshen type and colors if you prefer, but why throw out a successful desing and
FORCE the new format on everyone?
It would be nice if you gave us a warning that you were doing this. I didn't like the idea of taking my favorites(bookmark) from other sources. I had only used Netcape for all my banking/stock sites, but now I feel they've become comprimised. I DON'T LIKE THE NEW SITE!
Why don't you guys try what seems like the obvious method: display all the top stories exactly in order. However, when one category reaches, say, three stories then block that category for appearing again on the homepage. In this way the homepage will not be inundated with stories from anyone particular category, but it will still contain the top stories, more or less. And those stories will be in order of their popularity, not the popularity of their categories.
This current method you employ could stop the top story from appearing on the homepage if it is one of the least popular categories.
Adam, that's a really good idea. I think we'll have to test that out. Thanks!
I hate it, i liked the old blue netscape much better. this format is to hard to navigate and the old page was easier on the eyes. this plain white is ugly.
Why were my submitted articles deleted from the system without warning at all?!!! Don't you guys accept articles from blogger?! I do not understand the process at all.
Your new format is useless. It is very, very, difficult to use because it is not set up in the proper format for viewing. Just give us the old format. That is why I used Netscape for years. The new format is why I am looking for another browser.
If you have a loser, admit it and change it.
Well, basically it doesn't really matter when we leave these comments. I have not seen one comment that says they like this new format! I hate it as well. It's not reader friendly. There's a bunch of scattered stories, pictures, blogs.. blah blah. Too much crap that doesn't need to be on there. Stick to the news! More is not better. Don't ask for peoples suggestions if you're not going to listen. Your readers like the old netscape page.. GO BACK.
Every time You make a change it is made harder to use get the nerds out of there and let the old users alone make it as easy to navigate as possible go back at least 5 years and leave it there I to have used netscape at least 15 years. GO BACK WAY BACK.........
It seems you people have a knack for making this site HARDER and HARDER to use. In fact, I find myself NOT using it anymore. Hope you find some customer who will.

I have been through masny versions on Netscape and this is the worse, it is "NOT" user friendly and think you need to change your direction! If you look at the "others" there pages are better layed out then this. Tell the nerd to clean his glasses and come up with something, anything but this
