Well, if you knew that it was going to be confusing, why wouldn't you just name it something else to begin with and avoid the problem? It's not like it was the greatest name ever and you would be an idiot not to use it?

I like netscape, but there are little problems with the feeds by my site. Look: http://comseo.pl
Why is it taking Netscape so long to develop a ride-along e-mail package, such as all of the Netscape 7's and earlier versions had? I HATE Outlook Express and with this new Netscape Navigator 9, it forces you to use it, if you click on any e-mail link!! You'd think that they could at least create a link to your existing Netscape e-mail client that you have been using with Netscape 7 or earlier versions. Poor management and design and planning have ruined what was a great browser and e-mail client combination. Hmmmmm?......I think that in the "Olde" days that they used to stake such incompetents out in anthills. I wonder if that will still work or if it is another thing that isn't compatible with Windows XP or Vista? lmao If the best that the designers and think-tank geniuses of Netscape can come up with is to link their Netscape browser to the "competitor's" e-mail client, then they seriously need to clean house and hire some people with brains!!! I apologize if my words have insulted any innocent parties; but, when I downloaded and installed the new Netscape Navigator 9 and found that it wouldn't link to my e-mail files from my old Netscape 7.2, I was really pissed to the MAX!!! AND, when I clicked on an "e-mail me" link on a site that I visit regularly and instead of my familiar Netscape e-mail window coming up, I got that hated Outlook Express e-mail page, I about threw my computer out my 10th floor window!! *Grrrrrr!* In order to use my normal e-mail the way that I want to, I have to keep both Navigator 9 and Netscape 7.2 open and copy and paste e-mail addresses. Gee, I wonder what's wrong with that picture? Eh? Come on Netscape, either get your house in order or pack up your toys, lock the doors and go home. In the event that you really want to compete in today's computer market, you have to use your head for something besides a hat rack.
Enough said! *Bill climbs down off his soap box to the sound of loud applause and ovation*
It is a cool idea. Netscape Navigator 9, greeting for it.
no i think it is fine.
Nice, but i think that next version need a more agressive codename, for example Netscape "Furio", or something like that -)
Yeah, name is cool, but i think that change number after Netscape to some cool word will be an good idea.
I used a bundle netscape+firefox, if first can't load page, i turn on ff, but now netscape shows all pages properly.
Plz release new vesions more often

There won´t be a new Netscape Navigator. ETA: April 2007. Now we have middle of May. Too little budget, too little staff.
