And yet another who refuses to take Netscape seriously until it re-institutes a mail client. The last decent Netscape product was 7.2. But it's now long in the tooth and simply too vulnerable security-wise since it has not been updated. Please, either update 7.2 (which we've been told was a possibility) or develop an integrated mail program for NS 9. Meanwhile, SeaMonkey and Opera will remain my choices, both of which have integrated mail components.
Quote: [Mark] "...I sure wish I still had it!!! Netscape 7.2"
Mark,
I understand, I really do. You can indeed have Netscape 7.2 as Netscape have archived the majority of their previous versions. Get them here: http://browser.netscape.com/downloads/archive/
Have a good 'un.
Netscape I see no reason to move away from it.
I love Netscape Navigator. I hope it will come a day when everyone uses Netscape and they forget windows explorer.

Well done. Congrats!
Likewise, our business have used the mail feature of 7.2 and therefore can not move on until a mail service is provided. Now we just use IE for internet and 7.2 for mail.
If you do get a mail feature, it would be nice to have a drag and drop feature like Outlook does, you can drag e-mails to your desktop, or to a disk and transfer them into someone elses mail browser.
Yes, please guys.. add that Mail Tool to it, it would really be helpful, thnx.
Sam
Well i hope that it turns out good! Like the past years!
According to the site, a mail application is in the works. Optymalizacja stron. But don't act like IE is your only other option. If you like the old NS try using Seamonkey.
what i donot like abt Netscape is its heavy application that takes enough time in loading and the result makes me so dissappointed and i start using I.E. Can it be resolved sometime later?
Why Netscape takes too much time in loading? i don't find it user friendly...aah I'm disappointed. Cannot be it become light weight application like I.E?
Happy Birthday! I remember the launch, one already, how time flies. The mail tool sounds like an exciting addition. Hope to see it come to fruition
I completely agree, Netscape really needs to incorporate this in the new brower, so I can move up from 7.2.
I don't completely understand the people that say "NS Navigator 9 doesn't have an integrated email client, so I'm going to IE. Uh, neither does IE. Microsoft did make improvements with new version of Explorer, but it still lags in rendering.
If you need an integrated mail tool, try Seamonkey or Opera.
