Now all This site and company needs to take care OF: Is correct! {either}there servers, computers, or the Trained monkeys that edit and delete comment base on some Hallowed vain concept and precept of knowledge, That they believe is being written or talked about in some loose attempt to moderate the [american]English language. The Beta: I'm looking forward to trying it. But i am already prejudiced , that it is some Deprave business decoy to slow down traffic and then blame it on Cyber problems ;where NONE Exist!. bring on BETA[oh -so- slow.. slow.. slow..?}. whatever, can wait to try!.
We dont need AOL.com/junior , have you seen what they want to change netscape.com , it's basically a carbon clone copy of AOL.com
However it would be nice if you can use netscape/AOL screen names interchangeably as you can comment on AOL news story's now too!
And it also would be nice if the "Anchor's pick's" was more like the main new's story's of today on AOL and included sports and entertainment and video tab's ,they can even use AOL story's for these three catergories as AOL covers them very well.
All else should remain the same , but I'm wasting my time anyway they're going to what they want to anyway.
WE DONT NEED ANOTHER AOL.COM #1's ENOUGH!
It seems to me that this "change" is what we asked for when the last change happened when netscape.com became a user commentary formatted site. I wanted a news site, but they insisted that this was the way to go. NOW, they say there will be two sites, which is what we asked for in the first place, a choice in the news format. It supposedly wasn't feasable to have 2 sites.....Sorry, but why did the feasability change, too many people leave this site afterall?? Too much bickering and name calling that the ones that had initially stayed decided to leave as well??....Let's just hope the powers that be at netscape get the "new" news site right this time and then leave it alone when they do.
All I want is good email service that does not falter, does not hang up, can be sent on from Reply and from Create and Draft (currently it won't send on from draft.) I bypass the news. I also want it to work with Google and the other search engines. -- Today it is not working with Google.

The transition to AOL mail was a big mistake in my pinion. Back in the early 90's I was on dialup AOL and was ripped off big time. I recouped a fraction of what I lost and it was a pia to contact them. That is the reason I have been with you for around 12 years.
AOL mail sucks, at least for Mac's. The other thing I've noticed is the blogs are like molasses, problably due to the explosion of stories.
Thanks for asking
just about time
Well i wont add any thing new because Tom already included my question.i can just said its very sad, the way things are changing over there.i especially like the netscape home page, and i am sure i am not alone.
AOL has done its best to ruin Netscape. If you don't change over it makes it difficult and slow just to get your e-mail. What's next?
2/3's of Americans are either Republicans or Independents, and a sizable number of Democrats are either moderate or conservative. Will your new set up allow those Americans to post comments without being verbally abused, vilified or insulted by those who are only filled with hate and intolerance toward those Americans with opinions different than their own.
Will you continue with your left-leaning bias?
What does Netscape mean to a person who has watch it go from the best to almost the worst.
I have used Netscape since the mid 90's when it was the best. Every new release worked right
out the box. Then along comes AOL. They purchased the company and they then did their
best to destroy the best and support the worst (Explorer). AOL has got their just reward.
I have used Netscape for all of my technical email since the mid 90's and initially used AOL for
all my junk/personal email, till they over bill me a number of times. I switched to SBC-Yahoo,
for my junk/personal mail. I never had any trouble with my Netscape email. Each time a new
version was released I would purchase the Cd and user's manual, because I believed in the
development team and that was my way of supporting them.
I am a Design Engineer and I get between 200 and 500 technical emails a day. I get on one of
my four systems about 06:00 and get off about 23:00. I run Unix, Linux, BDC unix, Solaris,
windows98 and windows 2000. My gateway to the web is via Windows through AT&T/Yahoo
(SBC/Yahoo) DSL. I have probably over 2000 site, that have my Netscape account, they in turn
send me technical info, proposals, etc. Each day when I logon, I have to come with a new way
just to get to my mail.
People like Benjamin E. and Dave deserve the current AOL crap. Mike and Frank Grey have the
right idea. ben bruner don’t blame Netscape; is was the greed of AOL that created the current
crap.
Since netscape sold to aol I have been unhappy with both email and browser. The browser when loaded locks up the cpu. even though programs are written to work on netscape or IE, I now use IE if I want to get anything done. I only use netscape for email.
When netscape switched to the present format about a yaer ago, many of us did not like it at all.We begged for the return of the previous format. We were told we would get used to it.I never did. If the new netscape is more like the old, I'm all for it.
Interested to see what happens......Netscape 'news' is so heavily biased that it's a joke. The only reaon I see it.....is because I've been too lazy to change my Netscape home page. Usually I use Firefox........

So the 'new' Netscape portal is a clon of the AOL.com portal which is a ripoff of Yahoo.com. And you wonder why AOL is going downhill.
