You had a great site previously [i.e. the ability for multiple weather sites]; and then you changed to the 'beta' and it took me weeks to straighten out my financial records on my homepage and work through the bugs precluding my adding your "modules". Now I'm being told (again) that the page is going to be "better?" I'm not interested in "news" that can be swayed by one or multiple persons opinions, blogs, or just old-fashioned 'votes'. I want a source for main-stream information across several sources. I've been a netscape user since the days of v.2.11 arriving on a 3.5" floppy. Do you really want to lose me?
I'd love the new community portal.
But, it seems that this new portal has the timeout feature. Is it a bug?
However, All Best Netscape!
Ouch! sorry...
All Best Propeller!
In reply to Dave Peter's comment, I believe this is part of the reason that AOL turned netscape.com back into the main stream information portal that it used to be. However, if you are already using my.netscape.com, that should still be working same as normal. The new exciting changes discussed in the Blog are for the Social News network Netscape.com has been for the previous year. A portion of the internet community, such as yourself, doesn't necessarily care to participate in the social news aspect of the web, and that is part of the motivation to have more traditional portals like what is currently at netscape.com. I hope that helps.
Propeller sounds like a good stuff. Looks nice. Good luck with the new one!
> Best of all, we won't rush the new social news site to the public.
It definitely feels like home. Thanks for the hard work - keep up!
I have been on all social networking sites but I love Netscape/propeller the most. It is fun and I definitely have to be on it everyday. Though there were issues logging in and voting but they seem to have been resolved now.
Best of luck! I am proud to be a part of it
Wow, you've finally done it. I'll have to find a new ISP. I cannot even log in on this new page and get my Netscape email -- or if I can, you've hidden it pretty cleverly.
STOP FIXING THINGS THAT ARE NOT BROKEN.
Very cool, Im loving it! Has fantastic feel to it :)
Good job! Wish you all the best with the "new" site :)
Great work. I love the new logo as well. Propellers conjure up all sorts of memories for me. "Moving forward" is just one of them. Good luck with the future. I'm looking forward to moving with you.
So far, I've had problems logging in to the social news system with my screen name. As of today, it asked me to disable features in my internet security software in order to do so. That's a deal breaker on my home system, so I'll probably just post occasionally from public computers.
I'm a great fan of propeller and can't wait to see the new site.
It's good to experience propeller :)
It's a good move from netscape to propeller, I was excited with a thought of things are being changed right in front of my eyes while seeing the change in the logo for a category suddenly while I was browsing netscape as usual.
