We're eager to add more features, and yesterday we added video upload for all members!
You can read about the details in our
Video FAQ. Make sure the videos you upload adhere to
our Netscape Video Standards. Here's a rundown of the basics:
- Only upload videos that are yours for the uploading.
- There is no time limit on your videos.
- All videos must be 150MBs or smaller and either a .mpg, .mpeg, .mov, .avi, .mp4, or .m4v file.
- There is no limit on the number of videos you can upload.
- You can syndicate videos on your website or download original copies of the video.

Note: we have to figure out how to make some of these things work first):
- Video icon will link to a list of all videos submitted to the site. DONE!
- WMV support
- iPod-version of the file will have a name based on the story slug rather than some indecipherable string of numbers like 09-26-19-42-10-7050_dl.mp4
- Videos embedded in special video-savvy RSS feeds, so that you can subscribe to videos with a certain tag or in a certain channel. DONE!
- Home for all videos: http://www.netscape.com/video DONE!
